Job Title: Diffusion/CVD Equipment Maintenance Technician

Job Duties:

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on Diffusion/CVD semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
  • Support process engineering with diagnosis of problems with recipes that are used in the manufacture of product.
  • Troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical failures on Diffusion/CVD systems.
  • Locate and diagnose failures using standard electronic equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, specifications, manuals and/or instructions.?
  • Job Requirements:

    Either a bachelor?s degree in electrical engineering, electronics or electronics technology or relevant technical discipline plus 2 years of experience or, alternatively, an associate?s in Electronics Technology or relevant technical discipline plus 4 years of experience (foreign educational equivalent degrees accepted). In either case, candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience:

  • as an electronic/mechanical technician with Diffusion/CVD experience in a Wafer Fab environment;
  • Performing system fault finding utilizing electronic test and measurement equipment.
  • troubleshooting equipment induced process issues;
  • working with gases and chemicals;
  • working with mechanics, pneumatics, vacuum and automated systems;
  • evaluating systems failures in electro-mechanical systems;
  • Analyzing electronic subsystems, power supplies and vacuum systems for determination of failure component.
  • This is a continuous operations position. The night shift starts at 6:30 pm and alternates between four 10-hour weekday shifts and three 12-hour weekend shifts.

    For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
