Toyota of Massapequa, the newest dealership of the Atlantic Auto Group is launching on November 1st and we're looking for Technicians for our Service Department - Come Grow with Us!

Toyota of Massapequa, a flagship store of the Atlantic Auto Group--the second largest privately owned auto group in the U.S.--is offering an exciting career opportunity for Service Department individuals who have the desire to succeed!! We're opening a new building and we need Service Department Personnel of ALL SKILL LEVELS!! Including A, B, and C Level Technicians, Quick Lube Technicians and Express Technicians.

We are seeking a bright, motivated, detailed-oriented professional to join our staff. This is a great opportunity to join one of the top Long Island employers and to grow your career! This full-time/permanent position (flexible hours including some nights and weekends) consists of several key functions as part of our Service Department.

You must have verifiable references that indicate a steady employment history.


Applicants must be able to work in a fast-paced, customer service oriented environment and be able to work well with others. The ideal candidate will be organized, diversified and possess previous dealership experience. Experience with Toyota Products preferred.

We look to hire only the best so background screening, DMV checks, and drug testing are required and must come back clean in order to be considered for this position.

* Checks all fluids and maintenance-related parts and tops-off or replaces fluids or filters/parts as required

* Performs routine service inspections or tests and completes standard maintenance jobs

* Maintains cleanliness of vehicles while performing service or repairs

* Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards

* Follows all shop policy, procedure, safety, and environmental rules

* Performs other duties as assigned

* High school diploma or GED preferred

* One year of relevant experience preferred

* Knowledge of automotive servicing or repair highly desired

* Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record

* Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles

* Neat, clean, and professional appearance

* Highly professional and dependable

* Safety and customer service oriented

* Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed

* Certification as a state inspector a plus
