Carolina Commerical Systems, a leading Triangle Service Provider based in Raleigh, NC has an exciting opportunity for a qualified Level 2 Chiller Technician. As a HVAC Level 2 Chiller Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosis, maintenance, repairs, overhauls, and operation of all electro- mechanical controls for chiller systems with supervisor assistance. This would also include applied HVAC equipment, pumps, blowers, cooling towers, heat exchangers, water source equipment. Experience with Centrifugal, Helical Rotary, and Air Cooled equipment is preferred.

Hourly wage $25 to $29 - Overtime available

Chiller Technician Qualifications Level 2 -
Operational knowledge of all mechanical systems including, but not limited to:

Chillers up to 250 tons
Package Units up to 25-50 tons
Controls, Electronic and Pneumatic
Building Automation Systems
Air Handling Systems - all types
Process Burners

Ability to service and troubleshoot, perform PM task, retrofit successfully any of the above mechanical systems. Know what to do and why, and whether to repair or replace when presented with a problem. Ability to troubleshoot chillers and rooftops up to 250 tons, boilers up to 100 HP, some types of control systems and make repairs in a timely manner. Ability to retrofit mechanical systems with support of others. Has a basic understanding of sheet metal and piping concepts.

Level 2 Chiller Technician Qualifications:

Minimum of 3-5 years experience
Universal EPA Certification
Knowledge of Chilled Water Applications
Knowledge of electrical and DDC Controls
Diagnose, Service, Troubleshoot, and repair systems
High School Diploma
Valid NC Driver's License
Clean Driving Record
Must pass background and drug screen
Must be able to read schematics
Perform tasks as assigned by your manager
Be available to work over time and weekends if needed and limited out of town work
Able to lift 75 lbs on average
Observe all company safety an OSHA job site requirements
Strong trouble shooting and problem solving skills
Willingness to participate in on the job training and classroom training
Ability to work in outdoor weather and temperature extremes
Possess all hand tools required to perform job
