Duggan, Inc.?s HVAC Piping Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all aspects of heating, ventilation and air conditioning contract execution from preconstruction to prefabrication and field installation through final system start-up, commissioning, and project close-out.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate all aspects of HVAC to be installed including creating penetration drawings and piping installation drawings through the use of contract Arch, Structural, MEP drawings, and project submittal data.Provide fabrication drawings for shop and field generated from the coordination drawings and use of project submittal data.Layout hanger points and sleeve points for use with Trimble Layout systems.Build effective and collaborative relationships with vendors, field manager and clients.Attend all project coordination meetings as scheduled/directed.Complete other tasks as assigned.Knowledge/ExperienceMinimum 3 years of experience as HVAC Piping Coordinator or similar role with a fundamental understanding of the construction process and/or experience in the tradesExperience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies and processes.Demonstrated experience using AutoCAD, Navisworks, and/or CAD MEP/Autodesk Fabrication (TSI).AutoCAD Revit experience desirable but will train.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Excellent organization skills.Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills.Demonstrated knowledge of local codes and standards.Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of general HVAC systems.Collaborative approach to problem solving for both internal and external issues.EEO StatementE.M.
