What Youll Do:

As a Maintenance Technician 1 Plumber, you will carry out our Mission of Love by performing a variety of plumbing, general maintenance and preventive maintenance work including all facets of maintenance and new construction duties. Our Maintenance Technician 1 Plumber is responsible for the following:

The demonstrated general knowledge of plumbing and maintenance skills to perform facility maintenance work as required.General knowledge of OSHA, local, state and federal regulations; applicable building, electrical, plumbing and other trade codes and regulatory standards and requirements in performance of all duties.Installs, troubleshoots, repairs, maintains and evaluates the condition of plumbing systems as well as heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Assists in the installation and major repair of this equipment.Performs preventive maintenance on all equipment including testing and maintaining of plumbing equipment and devices. Assists outside contractors in their work relating preventive maintenance of major systems and equipment including but not limited to chillers, major air handlers, fire protection, elevators and other systems on contracted maintenance.Be available for emergency calls as required and or weekend/holiday on call duty as indicated by schedule, maintaining availability to accept Switchboard calls and to respond to make repairs or provide help as necessary.Completes computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) generated work orders and provides clear documentation of work as required. Generates work orders for additional work or tasks identified in the field and completes or submits them as appropriate.What You Definitely Have:

High school graduate or equivalent.Three or more years working experience as a plumber.Valid Pennsylvania Drivers License.Good written, oral, organizational and computer skills.Vocational or technical school training in plumbing construction and maintenance is (preferred).Experience as a Mechanic/Technician in an institutional or residential environment (preferred).Learn more about working at Masonic Villages of PA at our careers page:
